Tooth and Claw Mountains
These mountains very suddenly rise up from the earth into jagged young peaks. The northern end of the mountain range connects into the Tall Fir plateau. From there the mountains split the center and eastern portions of the continent until they reach the southeastern Emerald Sea. The steep faces and tops of the mountains have no trees or plant life growing upon them. Only snow and cold stone grace the highest areas of these peaks. Where plants do grow only sparse grasses and sturdy shrubs cling onto the rock between the cracks. Lower down near the base of the mountains the shrubs turn into juniper bushes, then slowly those bushes merge into short spindly spruce and pine trees. At the foot of the mountains forests of mixed evergreen tree species envelope the landscape.

Southern Blue River
Found winding its way through the left corner of the Tall Fir Plateau; this waterway is known for its smooth blue crystal rocks found throughout the rivers bottom and banks. In actuality these rocks are found all over the region due to the type of bedrock often seen in the north, but most of these blue crystalline stones are hidden by dirt and debris. The blue stones were uncovered by the fast moving water of the river which lifted away the earth from them. The river ends draining out into a delta that connects to the warm emerald sea.

Sky Beach
The tropical rainforest abruptly halts parallel to the sky blue colored beach. At first glance it might look like the sea water is running right up into the rainforest, but then you notice the crests of the waves rolling onto the light bluish gray sand. This beach in particular has a blue coloration to it because the blue crystal dirt, dust, silt, and sand got washed all the way down the blue river during times of flooding before landing along the edges of the beach. In the end the strange phenomenon makes for a beautiful scene. Many species of animals frequent the beach to hunt, socialize, fish, and just hang out and enjoy the weather. Half of the time its hot and sunny while other times it is storming out.
